Outlander: Blood of My Blood
As Julie’s US tour comes to an end, with one final date in Georgia tomorrow, we’re excited to highlight her recent collaboration with composer Bear McCreary on the Outlander prequel series, Blood of my Blood. She recorded the original theme song, For My Love That’s Lost, which blends English and Gaelic lyrics and sets the emotional tone for the show. Her voice also features on several other pieces throughout the soundtrack, adding depth to the series’ distinctive sound.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood can be streamed in the UK on MGM+ via Prime Video, with the last episode available from Saturday 11th October. In the US, the series premiered on Starz on 8th August, with the final episode scheduled to air on Friday 10th October.
Julie on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune
Julie recently had the pleasure of joining Petroc Trelawny on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune for a live broadcast from the Royal Highland Hotel in Inverness, performing alongside Éamon Doorley, Duncan Chisholm, and Ingrid Henderson.
