Spirit of the Highlands and Islands

This special one-off concert will feature some of the most popular names in Highland traditional music. Details of the full line up will be released in the coming months. The performance will also include the premiere of ‘River’ by James Ross with co-creators Colin MacDonald and Julie Fowlis. Performed by James, Julie, and the string ensemble, Thirteen North, River has been inspired by the incredible Tapestry of the Highlands and Islands, featured in The Inverness Castle Experience.
